Parking in the City of Kimmswick
Parking is available on the streets of the City of Kimmswick near the shops, visitor's center and the Historical Society's Museum. The Blue Owl Restaurant has a parking lot cross the street from the main entrance on Second Street.
During festival hours of the Apple Butter Festival (last weekend in October) and the Spring Festival (first weekend in June) vehicles are NOT permitted on city streets. Visitor usually find it easier to park in the paid parking lots on Highway K and walking the few blocks into town. There is also paid parking available at Windsor High School which is one street south of Highway K. The school parking has shuttle buses which run a route down Windsor Harbor road and enter the City from the East. The shuttles circle through the north side of town and drop passengers by the city park. The shuttles run continuously all day and there is no charge for the shuttle. The parking fees have been $5.00 per day in the past.
