Apple Butter Festival 2013

The 2013 Apple Butter Festival will be held in the City
of Kimmswick on Saturday October 26th and Sunday October 27th. Festival hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Vendors renting private property in the City of Kimmswick for the Festival must complete a license application and pay a $15.00 fee. (Click Here for the License Only Form).

The annual Apple Butter Festival in the Historic City of Kimmswick is one of the largest events in Eastern Missouri and in 2010 and 2011 over 120,000 visitors came to the two-day event. Over 500 vendor booths filled the city park and lined the streets selling a variety of crafts and food items. There were more than 75 specialty food vendors.

There is live entertainment and the Kimmswick Historical Society makes and sells their famous Apple Butter at the Apple Butter Pavilion on Market Street. Satellite parking is available on Highway K and at the Windsor High School from which there is a free shuttle bus service.

Food and beverage vendors are responsible for obtaining their necessary permits or licenses from the Jefferson County Health Department. Note that the department will be present at all festivals in the City of Kimmswick to conduct inspections.
